Enjoy a new disc golf course

Knowledge Gateway businesses can enjoy a spectacular new disc golf course at Wivenhoe Park.

The course has been officially opened at the University of Essex as part of the University's 60th anniversary celebrations and the new course features 18 breath-taking holes.

The Diamond Jubilee Course is perfect for a fun team-building session or a competitive round of disc golf. You can also just practice your disc golf skills on your own while enjoying the award-winning park

The new course, which has been designed by Disc Golf UK, caters for both experienced disc golfers and novices wanting to try a new sport.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Anthony Forster said: "The aim of our new course is to offer a world-class experience to disc golfers; maximizing all the advantages of a course set in this absolutely beautiful and historic English parkland setting."
